If you have a body, you are an athlete

When Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman made this observation many years ago, he was defining how he viewed the endless possibilities for human potential in sports. He set the tone and direction for a young company called Nike, and today those same words inspire a new generation of Nike employees.

Our goal is to carry on his legacy of innovative thinking and, whether to develop products that help athletes of every level of ability reach their potential, or to create business opportunities that set Nike apart from the competition and provide value for our shareholders.

It started with a hand-shake of two visionary Oregonians – Bowerman and his University of Oregon runner Phil Knight. They and the people they hired evolved and grew the company that became Nike from a US-Based footwear distributor to a global marketer of athletic footwear, apparel and equipment that is unrivalled in the world. Along the way, Nike’s established a strong Brand Portfolio with several wholly owned subsidiaries including Converse Inc., NIKE Golf, Hurley International LLC and the Jordan brand.

Nike remains a leader in global innovation voted recently as the “world’s most innovative company” (Fast Company) and innovation drives the business at all levels whether in product design, manufacturing, supply chain innovation, brand campaigns, or sustainability – We are always seeking people who can push the boundaries of what is possible – In any area of our business.

Management Trainee Programme

In Nike, our Mission is to unleash human potential. The Ignite Management Trainee programme is specially designed to accelerate your development by immersing you in the very heart of the Nike business. Once onboard, each Management Trainee will develop through a carefully-designed 24 months’ rotational programme, giving you key understanding of our consumers, products and dynamic marketplace. Your development will also be supported by our world-class mentors and managers who will lead, coach, drive and inspire you every step along the way.

Life at Nike is demanding yet empowering, challenging yet rewarding, pressing yet inspiring The Graduate Development Programme will push your performance to your limits and beyond; training, driving and enabling you to be the best you can be with the objective of obtaining a Manager level role within 3-5 years of Graduation.

Internship – Summer Camp

The “Summer Camp” will provide an intensive 8-Week experience at Nike working alongside business teams to deliver critical projects. Interns who qualify from the Summer Camp can be eligible to receive a “fast pass” and enter directly into the following year’s Management Trainee Programme selection process.
